Applications

Build work interfaces with an assistant and review changes before accepting them.

Open an application

Open the applications section and choose an available application. This may be an interface for data, a report or another task created in your workspace.

Viewing and editing may require different permissions. If the application is missing from the list, check the workspace and ask the owner for access.

Ready-made games

Snake, Minesweeper and Tetris are available in the application catalog. In Mattr, open Templates → Applications, choose a game and press “Add and open”. It will appear in your workspace, ready to play without preparing it through chat.

Use arrow keys for Snake and Tetris on a computer, or the on-screen buttons on a phone. In Minesweeper, click or tap to reveal cells; right-click or switch to Flag mode to mark mines. Each game includes its controls and rules.

You can pause and restart. Records are saved in the current browser and do not sync between devices. Playing does not call a model or spend money on model requests.

Describe the result you need

Tell the assistant what the application should do: which data to display, which actions are needed and who will use it. Start with one main workflow.

The ability to create applications depends on the assistant's available tools and whether the applications plugin is enabled.

Review the proposed version

Open the preview. Go through the main workflow: check labels, data, buttons and the expected results of actions.

If changes are needed, describe them to the assistant. When the version meets your needs, accept it. Review changes before accepting them, especially if the application works with external data.

Accepting a version within the workspace does not mean publishing a separate website on the internet.

Connect data

An application may request access to a service it needs. Connecting an account and allowing a specific action remain separate steps. Check which account is used and which data the application will receive.

If you cannot finish connecting in your current client, open the web app. See service connections.

Share with colleagues

Grant access with the appropriate role: viewing or editing. Check access to related materials and external sources separately.

A report can be a conversation response, a file or an application. Choose the format for the task: a file is enough for a one-off document, while an application is more convenient for regularly reviewing data.
