Workspaces
Choose where to work and find the conversations, files and assistants you need.
What is a workspace?
A workspace brings together assistants, members, projects, files and settings. One account can work in several workspaces, such as a personal workspace and a team workspace.
Each workspace has its own permissions and connections. An assistant or file in one workspace does not automatically become available in another.
Switch between workspaces
- Open your profile menu and the workspace list.
- Choose a workspace by name.
- Check that the assistants and projects you need are listed.
If a conversation or project seems to have disappeared, check the selected workspace first. Switching does not move data between workspaces.
Start working on your own
The Free plan is available for your first cloud workspace. If a workspace is not yet available after signing in, use the option to create or connect one in your account settings.
Free is intended for personal use. To work together, the owner chooses a suitable plan and invites members.
Access to work materials
Seeing a workspace in the list does not mean you can access everything in it. Assistants, projects and applications may have additional restrictions. If you can see the workspace but not the section you need, contact its owner or an administrator.
Members with the appropriate permissions can change shared model, connection and plan settings. Personal connections are in your profile.
Cloud, your own server and Local
In the cloud, the service handles starting and keeping the working environment available. Team is designed for a workspace on a dedicated server. Submitting a Team request does not mean the server is already ready.
Local runs on your computer and is intended for one user. Your computer and the local app must remain running for work to continue. See devices and operating modes.
