Choose an available model

In assistant settings, choose a model from the workspace's list. The primary model is used for its work; auxiliary tasks may have separate settings.

If the profile allows changing the model in a conversation, select it before sending the next message. Check quality with a small example, especially after switching models.

Models through Mattr

Cloud Free and Pro use models through the Mattr provider. Adding your own provider keys is not available in these modes.

Model usage is charged separately from the plan fee. Both the context sent to the model and the generated response may count, so the response length on screen is not the total amount of billed work.

Your own provider

Team and Local support connecting your own providers. Open the workspace's provider and model settings, add a supported provider and key, then select the available models.

When using your own key, charges follow that provider's terms. A positive Mattr balance does not remove limits or unpaid charges on the provider's side.

If a model does not respond

Check that the selected model is available, the provider is active and there are sufficient funds. The owner can also set limits for an individual assistant.

If only one model fails, try another available model on a short task. Do not automatically repeat an action that may already have changed data in an external service.
